Be careful with your music in the public domain. Folks will rip you off!
Makes sense to me.
I’m listening to Sly & The Family Stone featured music from NPR. This is a great time in music and I love it.
Thank you to the one’s that count. I could not be more grateful to my family, friends and co-workers for their awesome support during my year battle with cancer. I am truly blessed to have such good folks near and dear to me.
When someone, anyone finds themselves confronting an enormous uphill climb such as cancer, it can really test your resolve and your family and friends ability to be there and help you when you need it. I never thought I would be facing such a climb but there it was, right in front of me, like a rattlesnake coiled and ready to strike! The sound of that just frightens me. I am so thankful now to be on the other side of this journey.
Thank you doctors for cutting the cancer out and leaving me enough working parts to continue living without much hindrance. It took time to get used to some of the healing stages but so far it has been acceptable and I am getting better with every passing month.
Thank you nurses who found time to communicate and listen. Your compassion, knowledge and energy are unsurpassed. You have the toughest job and I respect you far more than I ever have. It’s a shame it takes something like caner to do that.
Thank you Bryan Durham. You’re phone calls were just what I needed. To think, just several months before we were having drinks and laughing at our 25 year high school reunion. You helped me see things from a different perspective and always gave good advice.
Thank you to my step-brothers and step-sisters. You each contributed in your own way and left me feeling loved. I appreciate the phone calls and willingness to listen and provide sound advice. I wish we never broke contact and I was more apart of your lives. Most of that is my fault. Life happens and lose touch as we get older. I plan on showing my kids videos of us when we were kids. I am sure it will produce many laughs. I treasure my childhood with all of you. Good times!
Thank you to Cheryl and Paul fox (Pops) for coming to visit and for making me feel loved. I always appreciate our laughs and deep conversations. I hope to take you up on a visit to the lake house and that you can get to know my kids better. Stay thirsty my friend.
Thank you to my cousins. Thank you for contacting me numerous times and making me feel loved and welcome into your homes.
Thank you to my mom and Worth. You guys always make my kids feel special and do everything you can to stay up-to-date on our happenings and involved in our lives and your grandchildren’s lives. You two are very special and I hope you know how much we love you.
Thank you to my in-laws David, Cydney, Charles, Mary, Blake, Charlie and Henry. You guys rock! I love you bunches and hope to have many future life-changing times together. Without you guys helping us, it would have been too much for Melissa and our kids to deal with. You all are the best family one could ask for. I can’t express my gratitude enough for all that you have done and continue to do for the Ervin family. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You all are the salt of the earth.
Thank you to my Dad and Grandmother. You both are not selfish at all. Thank you for everything you do. I appreciate my conversations with you both and hope that I can see you very soon. I am so proud of you both.
Thank you to all of my extended Facebook friends. Well, many of Melissa’s Facebook friends. When she would post information about what was happening, you would like or comment and that would make me feel loved and cared for.
Thank you to Tovi and Chris Heffron. You two are no strangers to giving. You give so much of your time and energy to so many wonderful things around your community. I am blessed to know you and your family. Thank you both for coming to sit with me during chemo visits and coming down so our kids could all hang out. You are the most wonderful people I know.
Thank you to my family. Thank you to my kids for making me feel loved. Thank you for the pictures and overall caring you have provided me. I am so very proud. Thanks especially to Melissa. Without you, I could not have gone through this battle. You took the bull by the horns in this fight and never let go. I don’t think you ever let go because you’re still fighting for me with the doctors and nurses. I appreciate that very much. I love you and hope that I have properly expressed my love and gratitude to you. You Rock, Melrocks!
